Yesterday (September 7) Apple announced their latest flagships for 2016, the iPhone 7 and 7 plus. Alongside the iPhones many other announcements were made like the new Apple watch among other various announcements. But most interesting of them all was the fact that Super Mario Run and Pokemon Go app are coming to iPhones and the Apple watch respectively.

Yes, folks the most iconic game from Nintendo which I have a lot of nostalgia playing on a Gameboy is coming to the iPhones. The app was formally launched by the father of Mario himself, Shigeru Miyamoto. He explained how he wanted people of all ages to be able to enjoy this game. He also touted the convenience¬†and reachability of the game. The Super Mario Run also has a “Toad Rally” mode which helps you challenge your friends and also strangers. The game, however, will come at a set priced so that players don’t have to worry about paying again and again. Honestly, I am super excited about this release and can’t wait to try it out myself.

Another big announcement was the launch of Pokemon Go app for Apple watch¬†users. Now you can easily play Pokemon Go without having to constantly check your phone. The app takes advantage of the new Apple watch and offers a robust experience. Trainers now can easily get a glance of Pokemon nearby right from the app. If a wild Pokemon does appear, the watch will notify the player. The user, however, will have to use their phone to catch the Pokemon as it can’t be done on the watch itself. The app also provides them with the distance remaining to hatch an egg. And with this new app, collecting resources from Poke stops couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is spin the wheel right from your watch without having to even pull out your phone.
