Vatsal Impex, the official distributor of Xiaomi smartphones in Nepal has launched their latest premium smartphone the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. After the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Mix, this is another smartphone from them which brings something new to the table. Priced at Rs 76,999 the phone offers a sleek design with a dual curved display, first for a Xiaomi device.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 stands out of the crowd with its sleek glass on glass design edged off with the dual curved display. There is no denying it, the Mi Note 2 looks gorgeous! Backing those curves is a 5.7 inch Full HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 386PPI. Under all that glass, the phone rocks a 2.35GHz Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor along with the Adreno 530GPU. The processor is backed up by a whopping 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Sadly, the phone doesn’t have a micro-sd card slot for further memory expansion. But with 128GB of storage onboard it is most unlikely that you would be needing a micro-sd card support.
In the camera department, the phone goes all out with a f/2.0 22.5MP rear camera accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also packs a f/2.0 8MP for all your selfies. Software wise the phone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s own custom skin MIUI 8 running on top of it. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner embedded into its front mounted home button. Other sensors included an accelerometer, proximity, compass, barometer and a gyroscope. And finally, powering the device all up is a large 4070mAh non-user removable battery. It is amazing how Xiaomi could packs such a large battery in a phone that is just 7.6mm thin. Not only that, the phone also comes with a USB Type-C cable and Quick charge 3.0 for faster charging time.
The phone as of right now is available only in the Black color variant for a price of Rs 76,999. You can buy the phone straight from Mi Nepal’s official showroom, retail stores, or their official website. Buyers of the phone will get a Mi Band 2 worth Rs 4,499 for free with every purchase. Hurry up!! as this offer lasts only until the 28th of March 2017. So what do you think? Will you buy the Xiaomi Mi Note 2?
