Gionee Nepal has just launched the successor to the Gionee S6, The Gionee S6 Pro in Nepal for the price of Rs. 35,000/-. The major features of the device include the 8 megapixel selfie camera, metal body and a staggering 4 GB RAM.
The device has a unibody metal design which screams premium. The phone boasts a 5.5 inch full HD (1080p) IPS LCD display with a pixel density of 401 ppi. The fingerprint scanner rests just below the display. A octa core MediaTek Helio P10 clocked at 1.8 Ghz powers the device alongside a 4 GB RAM. The included 64 GB internal storage can be expanded up to an extra 256 GB using a microSD card but this means you will have to wave goodbye to the second SIM slot for the device sports a hybrid SIM tray. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 with Amigo OS 3.2 on top of it.
The phone has a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an 8 megapixel front camera. Juicing up the device is a non-removable 3130 mAh battery. The phone has the new USB C port and also supports USB OTG. The inclusion of a gyroscope means that virtual reality can be enjoyed on this device.

The phone is priced at Rs. 35,000 in Nepal which seems pretty reasonable considering the price tag (take notes Xiaomi). It will be available in retail stores all over Nepal. The phone gives direct competition to the Huawei P9 lite and also the Lenovo K5 note. The device seems quite promising looking at the specifications sheet but we won’t know much until we get our hands on the device itself. The launch of Gionee S6 Pro in Nepal seems quite promising.
