Android Vs iOS war started years ago and there is no sign of in ending. Both the mobile operating system are fighting for No.1 spot and there is no clear winner. In this article, you will find out why OS is better then the other and how! Android and iOS, which is better mostly has to do with personal preference of people. Some people find Android better whereas others find that iOS way better. This is subjective but there are a lot of things that we can compare. They may look different but they are pretty much the same from the inside.
iOS 7 is the latest version of iOS and Android 4.4 is the latest version of Android which is also known as Android Kitkat. So, it is the battle between iOS 7 and Android Kitkat for the gold. When it was iOS 6 and the earlier build of Android, Android was the clear winner due to its flexibility and its accessibility. But when Apple announced iOS 7, it was much competitive and even surpassed Google in terms of its looks and usability.Android 4.4 fights back with less memory usage and usability upgrade across the board. The Android 4.4 may look a lot like Android 4.3 Jelly-Bean but a lot has been done underneath which makes the former a wonderful experience. While iOS is improving on its looks and accessibility, Android is improving from the core where it often falls back. Google knows that they have all the feature a phone needs and the only thing that is missing is stability. Their Jelly Bean update brought butter smooth experience to the Android and they want to move even further with the Kitkat. The major improvement of Android 4.4 Kitkat over its predecessor is that it is no more memory hog. Recent reports show that Android device running with as less as 512MB RAM can run just as smoothly as a high end Android hone which really is a great deal.
iOS 7, in the other hand, is completely different. Their core is strong and they are now focusing more on usability and accessibility. There is now quick setting toggle which can be brought by swipe from the bottom of the screen. You can now easily turn on/off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and manage brightness altogether from that shortcut menu. You can even open flash light or calculator if you wish to.Multi-tasking is mostly great on iOS 7. While it may not be true multi-tasking as on Android, it works just fine if not any better. Every icon is remapped in iOS 7. The new OS is much more colorful and has much more life than iOS 6 which really looked dated by today’s standard.iOS 7 runs a little slower on older devices like the iPhone4 and even on iPhone 4s. It runs just fine on iPhone 5.
iOS 7 and Android 4.4 look different and feel different. Both have their disadvantages and advantages. Which is better depends on your personal preference. They are now even and have very less differences. The Google Search is much better than Siri and Widget is still pride of Android as iOS has nothing else but icons. However, the application library on iOS 7 is much better and much refined than in Android and the quality of app can easily be found on the App Store . It can be troublesome to find apps as good as on the App Store in the play Store. Which one you like better is upon you. Thank you for reading my post. Stay tuned and stay updated!
