iPhone 5s still the best selling phone, followed by Samsung Galaxy S5Samsung’s Galaxy S5 couldn’t quite attract the crowd with its somewhat outdated design. Even though iPhone 5s has been out for more than 6 months, it is still selling like hotcakes. The story isn’t completely sad for Samsung though. Samsung Galaxy S4 and Samsung Galaxy Note 3 are in the 3rd and 4th position respectively.

It is sad to know that no HTC nor Sony’s flagship phones made it into the list. Also, neither Motorola Moto G nor Motorola Moto E made it in top 10 lists. HTC One (M8) although a really good phone isn’t doing really well. One (M8) is surely doing well in the U.S. but it is barely selling if at all. Out of the top 10 selling phones, 5 of them are from Samsung and 3 of them are from Apple. The other two positions is taken by Xiaomi, a Chinese brand who are known to deliver premium phones for cheap.

LG is also not doing so well with their flagship phone, the LG G3. They are having some problem making it worldwide. Sony Xperia Z1, LG G2 (no LG G3), Motorola Moto G and Huawei Honor 3C made it into top 20 best selling phone list. Sony Xperia Z1 and LG G2 are believed to make it into top 10 list next time. Moto E, the cheaper version of Moto G will make it into top 20.
