Is Windows Phone 8 better than Android?

droid some day.To be honest, Windows Phone 8 is not still as good as Android . There are still a lot of things missing  For instance, there are no shortcut option from lock-screen, no widgets and stuffs like that. The only place from where you can get your applications is the Windows Store. 3rd party applications from other sites doesn’t seem to work.
Windows Phone is getting great day by day. But, on the other hand, Android is getting much more better. Android 4.2 Jelly Bean 4.2 offers multi-user account which is great for tablet users. The face unlock feature is also very cool. This feature now works perfectly with the liveliness check option. The max supported resolution of Android 4.2 is much higher than that of Windows Phone 8 as well.

So, for now Android is still better than Windows. However, if you are bored with the Android layout and the same old widgets, you can give Windows Phone a try. They are not bad either. The only thing you will miss is the big application library and some minor things like music equalizers, no voice assistant, etc. So, that’s it for now. Also, there is no file manager in Windows Phone as there is in Android.

  1. Rather than debating OS resolution support(which actually first depends upon capability of hardware), it is about the apps and looks like windows phone might get native windows applications as well as a chance of running android apps, not to forget better syncing with your windows pc….so within a year windows might tak over the mobile market as well

  2. Android is good for pros, while WP8 is for beginners. WP8 is very simple (even simpler than iOS). Android is much more complex but highly customizable.
