Lava after a long time is back with a bang with their latest mid-range smartphone the Lava A3. Priced at Rs 25,000 in Nepal here are some of the things the phone brings to the table.
The Lava A3 is one handsome looking smartphone with its unibody aluminum construction. The phone not only looks good but also feels premium in the hands. The metal chassis beautifully meets the 5.5 inch HD IPS display with a 2.5D glass. The display also is covered by Gorilla Glass 3 giving it protection against drops and scratches. Under the hood, the A3 packs an Octa-core MediaTek MT 6750 processor coupled with the Mali T860 GPU. The processor is backed up by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 64GB. In the camera department, the phone packs a f/2.0 rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. The phone too has a f/2.0 front camera also with a LED flash for all your selfies. The inclusion of a front LED flash makes it possible to take better selfies even in low-light situations.
Software-wise, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lava’s own custom skin, Star OS 3.3 overlayed on top of it. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which can unlock the phone in 0.16 second. Other sensors include an accelerometer, proximity sensor, digital compass and a gyroscope. The phone also supports 4G, which is great news for NTC users. Finally, powering the device all up is a beefy 3020mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with lower resolution screen will be more than enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.
Overall, the Lava A3 looks to be a great smartphone especially considering its price tag and what it has to offer. There is no doubt Lava has a winner up their sleeves. If you are looking for a smartphone under Rs 25000 here in Nepal, I would highly suggest you guys check out the Lava A3.
