LifeCom the official distributor of Lenovo smartphone in Nepal has launched the successor to the K4 Note, the K5 Note here in Nepal. The phone is available for a price of Rs 27,950 with a free VR headset bundle.
The phone brings a lot of improvements over its predecessor. It packs a 5.5 inch Full HD, IPS display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. The display this time around is housed in a metal uni-body which looks gorgeous. This not only makes the device look premium but also helps in a good in hand feeling.
Under the hood, the phone rocks a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor coupled with the Mali-T860 GPU. The processor is backed up by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The memory can be expanded via a micro sd card up to 128 GB.
The phone also sports a 13 Mp f/2.2 primary camera with a dual tone LED flash. It also has a 8 MP front camera for all your selfies. There is also a fingerprint scanner sitting just below the rear camera. The presence of a fingerprint scanner is always a breath of fresh air on mid-tier devices.
In the software side of things, the K5 Note runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Lenovo’s own custom skin, Vibe UI on top of it. The phone also has Dolby Atoms for a louder and clearer audio experience. This will be a bliss for anyone looking to consume media on this device. And finally powering this device all up is a large 3500 mah battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage.
Overall the phone looks gorgeous and has some decent specifications. Anyone looking for a good phone under Rs 30,000 will most definitely love this phone. We only wish that LifeCom had priced the phone a little bit more competitively. It would have attracted many consumers who want a decent phone without having to break the bank. Nevertheless, the phone is still well worth the price as you are getting a lot for it. On top of that, you also get a VR headset which is a sweet deal I wouldn’t pass out on.
