Suzuki Celerio has made its way into Nepali market and it is now available for pre-order.  The Celerio replaces A-Star in Nepal and pricing starts at just Rs.19,99,000/- The Celerio is the first car with revolutionary Automated Manual Transmission Car in Nepal. The car is powered by a 1.0L K-next Petrol Engine which returns best in class mileage of 23.1KMPL. The data holds true even for the Automatic transmission model! Maruti Suzuki Celerio launched in NepalCG Moto Corp is the distributor of Maruti Suzuki cars in Nepal. Celerio is their new addition to the stable. Celerio is only available in Petrol variant. There are three models to choose from. The LXi is the most basic model. Only few features are offered in this car. But you can opt-in for EZ automated transmission even in this low end model. VXi sits in between LXi and Zxi (top-end variant) and comes loaded with features but lacks safety features like AirBag and ABS.
The top end ZXi variant comes loaded with gizmos and safety features. It gets AirBag (only in Driver side though), ABS with EBD, Bluetooth connectivity with telephony feature. It also gets steering mounted controls which lets you control music and pick-up calls. The security and safety settings of the car can also be customized. As with many Suzuki cars, Multi-information display panel sits in front of the driver.
Though Celerio is compact from the outside, it is really roomy inside. There is enough head room and leg room. Even the boot space is large at 235 litres. The dual tone color makes the cabin look spacious too. There are 15 utility spaces altogether which can be used for various purposes.
The dash looks good. It follows the CICO Design (Curve In Curve Out). Suzuki calls it sweeping wave Dashboard design which looks similar to that of Swift’s dashboard.

The front grill looks aggressive and the top end variant gets alloy wheels too. LXi model gets 155/60 R13 tyres; VXi and ZXi get 165/70 R14 tyres. The EZ Drive (automated model) has only two pedals so it is much easier to drive in the city traffic. Not having to change gears all the time is so much easier in start-stop traffic conditions.

The starting price of Celerio is Rs.1,000,000. Moreover, the company is offering discount worth Rs.100,000 and a scratch card, which can win customers additional cash discount of up to Rs.50,000.
