Nokia 5 launched in Nepal at Rs 21,350

Nokia smartphones are back from the dead- and they are back with a bang. Paramount Electronics Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Nokia smartphones in Nepal has launched yet another mid-tier offering, the Nokia 5. Here is everything the phone brings to the table.

The Nokia 5 sports a 5.2 inch HD (720*1280) IPS display with a pixel density of 282PPI. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass and is edged out by a 2.5D glass. Encasing this display is an aluminum shell which gives the overall phone a premium look and feels. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm MSM8937 Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with the Adreno 505 GPU. The processor is backed by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be further expanded via a micro-sd card up to 256GB. The phone also supports dual-sim cards but only if you give up the micro-sd card slot.

In the camera department, the Nokia 5 packs a f/2.0 13MP rear camera along with a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has a f/2.0 8MP front camera for all your selfies. Software wise, the phone runs almost a stock version of Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Nokia 5 also has a front-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into its home button. Other sensors included an Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, Compass, and a Gyroscope. And finally powering the device all up is a 3000mAh non-user removable battery. This coupled with the 720p display will be more than enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.
