OTTO Phones, a smartphone OEM has entered Nepalese market with their first smartphone, the OTTO Mark. In an event held yesterday (Feb 1, 2017) at Tamrakar Complex, OTTO along with the Loot 2 team unveiled the smartphone. The phone was grandly inaugurated in presence of superstars like Dayahang Rai and Saugat Malla. So what does this phone bring to the table? Well, let’s find out.

The OTTO Mark is not a small device by any means as it packs a massive 6 inch HD IPS display. With the 2.5D glass, the display meets seamlessly with the uni-body aluminum shell which not only looks good but also feels premium in the hands. Media consumers will be overjoyed with this offering. Under the hood, the phone packs a 1.3GhZ Mediatek MT6735 processor along with the Mali T720 GPU. The processor is backed up 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The internal storage can be further expanded via a Micro-SD card up to 128GB. In the camera department, the Mark packs a 13MP rear camera accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash. The phone also has an 8MP front camera for all your selfies.

Software-wise, the phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow which highly resembles stock Android. This is a good thing as it provides an overall smooth experience without any UI lags or stutters. The phone also has a fast fingerprint scanner for added security which resides just below the rear camera. Other sensors include an accelerometer, compass, proximity and a gyroscope. The inclusion of gyroscope is a nice touch as it makes the phone VR compatible. The Mark also takes dual sim cards giving users the flexibility of using two phone numbers at the same time. And finally powering the device all up is a 3845 mAh non-user removable battery. This will be more than enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.

This is a pretty bold move from OTTO and we applaud them for making it. Priced at Rs.19,996, the offerings of the OTTO Mark looks to be a compelling one. We definitely like what we see and wish OTTO all the best for their future endeavors. You can as of right now buy the phone from Lee Mobile Care, Civil Mall in two color variants- Space Grey and Champagne Gold. For more information and queries, visit OTTO Phones official website.
