After the huge success of the Realme 6 in the Nepalese smartphone market, the brand is all set to announce its successor- the Realme 7. The Realme 7 is set to go on sale on the 11th of November on Daraz 11.11 sales day.
Just like the Realme 6, the Realme 7 features a 90Hz display which is of Full HD+ resolution. The display also uses an IPS panel instead of an OLED. What’s different this time around is the processor. The Realme 7 is the first phone to use the new MediaTek Helio G95 SoC. You can expect a really good gaming performance out of this phone.
Here is a quick run-down of specs of this upper mid-range Realme smartphone:
Realme 7 Specification
- 6.5-inch Full HD+ IPS Display
- 90Hz screen refresh rate
- MediaTek Helio G95 SoC
- 6GB/8GB of RAM
- 64GB/128GB of Internal Storage
- Quad Camera setup on rear (64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP)
- 16MP Selfie Camera
- 5000mAh battery
- 30W Fast charging
If you are looking for a smartphone that is really good at gaming and has a nice display while lasting an entire day of heavy usage, the Realme 7 is for you.
The MediaTek Helio G90 was already an excellent chipset. The G95 has both improved CPU and GPU and interestingly enough, it doesn’t consume more power. And since the phone features a 5000mAh battery, it will be a great companion for gamers out there.
The Realme 7 has a quad-camera setup on the rear. However, don’t be too excited. Two of the four cameras are pretty much useless. The 2MP depth camera and 2MP macro camera aren’t of too much use. The primary 64MP should produce good photos but don’t expect anything extraordinary out of this Sony sensor. We have seen this same sensor on a lot of mid-range smartphones and the output should be similar on the Realme 7 too.
Let’s hope that Realme prices the Realme 7 competitively. We expect the phone to be priced at around Rs. 35,000 when it actually launches in Nepal.
