Realme C15 unveiled with Snapdragon 460 SoC

Realme has just unveiled the Realme C15 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. The phone was earlier launched in July with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. Apart from the processor swap, there’s very little that has changed with the phone.

As before, the C15 comes with a 6000mah battery and 18W fast charging. The phone also retains the 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display. There are two variants on offer- one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage and the other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Here is a quick run-down of the specs of the Realme C15:

  • 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display
  • Snapdragon 460 SoC
  • 3GB/4GB of RAM
  • 13MP+8MP+2MP+2MP rear camera setup
  • Full HD Video Recording
  • 8MP f/2.0 front camera
  • 6000mAh battery
  • 18W Fast charging

There are two main things that is worth mentioning about thie phone. First, there’s the new processor. Compared to the Helio P35 SoC, you can exact the new phone to be significantly faster. Then, there’s the large 6000mAh battery. The battery should last you 2 days easily. And the good news is, it doesn’t take significantly long to charge, either. You can expect the phone to be fully charged in under 2 hours.

While a lot of you may think that quad cameras on the back of the phone is going to be stellar- after all, there’s 4 physical modules at the back, it’s clearly not the case. Apart from the 13MP main camera and the 8MP ultra-wide camera, the rest of the 2MP cameras are useless. They are just there to increase the camera count- pretty much useless.

We expect the new Realme C15 to be launched in Nepal before Tihar. You can expect this phone to be priced at around Rs. 18,000 mark. What do you think about this phone? Let us know in the comments section down below.
