Now, this was fast. The second generation of the Samsung Galaxy Buds is already available in Nepal. The price of Samsung Galaxy Buds+ in Nepal is Rs. 17,000. The price roughly translates to $150 which is the exact price for which the Buds was launched in the US.
The Galaxy Buds+ was unveiled on the 12th of Feb at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the Galaxy S20, S20+, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. While we are still about a few weeks away from the launch of the Galaxy S20, the Galaxy Buds+ is already here.
Overview of the Galaxy Buds+
At first sight, the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ looks similar to its predecessor. However, there’s quite a lot that has changed internally. To start, the Galaxy Buds+ can now last up to 11 hours in a single charge. The case also has a battery inside. The case prolongs the battery life of the Galaxy Buds by an additional 22 hours.
The Galaxy Buds+ charging case is capable of wireless charging. However, if you want to take the traditional route, there’s also a USB-C port on the back that you can use to charge the charging case.
If you own the Galaxy S10 or any new Galaxy flagship phones, you will be able to wirelessly charge the Galaxy Buds+ charging case using yourtgala phone.
The Galaxy Buds+ gets a dual audio driver for better sound quality. There is a tweeter and a woofer just like what you would find in a good pair of studio headphones. With this setup, you can expect better highs as well as better lows.
It’s not just the sound quality, however. If you remember clearly, the original Galaxy Buds was highly criticized for its below-par mic quality. If you were outdoors in a noisy environment, the microphone would have a hard time picking your voice up. Samsung has addressed this issue by adding more mics for better noise-cancellation. There is now a total of three mics for improved call quality.
