Samsung Galaxy Note 9 : Long Term Battery Review

While it’s not usual for us to write reviews about the battery life of phones, this one is an exception. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has one of the best battery life in any smartphone and we wanted to test exactly how good it really is. So, this is our Note 9 Long-Term Battery Review.

We often see reviewers review phones while they are brand new and talk about battery life when the batteries are in excellent shape. But as we all know, batteries deteriorate with time. And it has been especially true with Samsung phones. You will see phones not hold a charge as long as they were once brand new. Is it the same with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9?

How is the battery life on the Galaxy Note 9 after months of usage?

Having used the phone for 3 months now, I have to admit that the battery life on the Galaxy Note 9 is phenomenal. It’s easily a phone that will last a day and some.

While it’s not a 2-day battery, it’s very close. As you can see in the screenshot on the right,samsung-galaxy-note-9-long-term-battery-review I was able to get through 2 days and 5 hours on a single charge before running out of juice. During this cycle, I played music for 5 hours+, was on call for an hour and used the screen for 3 hours and 42 minutes. Yes, the usage isn’t intensive but this is how reflects how most of the people use their phone.

And trust me, the results would have been even better if the network reception in the area I live in was a little better. The NTC coverage in my area is so poor that I have to reach to the roof of my home every time I need to make a call.

One interesting thing that is worth mentioning is that the first few days I got my Note 9, the battery life wasn’t all that great. But then, things got a lot better when the phone started to adapt to my usage habits. The recent update also ironed out a few battery drainage issues that the phone had.

Even if you are a power user, you can get through a day one a single charge (true, only if you are not playing PUBG or Fortnite for hours).

The battery life is just as good as it was when the phone was brand new. I will make sure to keep you updated on how the battery of the phone holds up after six months of use.

Which phone do you personally use and how is the battery life of it? Do let us know in the comments section down below. It will also be awesome if you can share how the battery life has been holding up since you initially bought your phone.
