Samsung J5 Prime now available in Nepal

Samsung Mobile Nepal has officially launched the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime for a price of Rs 22,990 here in Nepal. The Galaxy J5 currently is a well-received smartphone and the J5 Prime just builds upon that.

galaxy-j5-prime-techno-nepalThe Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime sports a 5 inch HD, IPS display with a pixel density of 294 PPI. The display is also covered by Corning Gorilla Glass giving it protection against drops and scratches. The phone come encased in a uni-body aluminum shell which not only looks good but also feels great in the hands.

Under the hood, the phone houses a Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A53 processor (not yet known). The processor is backed up by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded via a Micro SD card up to 256 GB. And yes the phone does support dual sim cards with a dedicated slot for both the cards. The device is also 4G capable giving it a necessary future proofing.

In the camera department, the phone houses a 13 MP f/1.9 rear camera with a LED flash. It also has a 8 MP f/2.2 front camera for all your selfies. The phone this time around flaunts a fingerprint scanner which was missing from the Galaxy J5 2016. It definitely will add more value to the already great device.

The Galaxy J5 Prime runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Samsung’s own custom skin, Touch Wiz UI running on top of it. The overlay does help the phone bring useful features like Ultra Power Saving mode, and the Ultra Data Saving mode. And powering the device all up is a non-removable 2400 mah battery. This will be enough to get users through a full day of moderate to heavy usage without any issues.

So in conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy J5 Prime seems to be an amazing smartphone especially considering its price tag. The phone packs some premium hardware and powerful internals. I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking to buy a smartphone under Rs 25000 in Nepal.
