Samsung Nepal hosted a Bloggers Meet before the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Nepal. The Bloggers Meet, as always, was an interactive session between the Bloggers and the team from Samsung Nepal where we primarily discussed the upcoming Galaxy Note 9.
Samsung is all but set to launch the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in Nepal. Pre-booking of the Note 9 starts tomorrow, i.e on 17th August 2018. The phone should be available by the end of August. The phone is launching on the 24th of August internationally.
Hands-On experience with the Samsung Galaxy Note 9
If you have been living under the rock, let’s start with what a Samsung Galaxy Note is.
Samsung Galaxy Note is a line of smartphone that is targeted towards the power users and tech enthusiasts. It’s also just as much-loved by Gamers. Let’s not forget about the business-men who love to show-off their Note phone and its S-Pen. As you can see, even though it looks as if it’s a phone for a niche market, it clearly isn’t.
Anyone who has got the money and is looking for a large smartphone that can do it all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is for them. The phone is packed with features to the brim.
During the Bloggers meet, we, the bloggers got to use the Galaxy Note 9 for a few hours. In my time of testing the phone, I found the phone to be really responsive and zipped through anything and everything I threw at it.
The re-positioning of the fingerprint scanner on the Note 9 is also a welcome change. It’s much easier to reach and the sensor itself is really fast.
The battery also held up well. I was able to drop only 20% of the battery during my around 2-hour use of the phone.
However, if you are coming from the Note 8, there’s really not much of an upgrade. For anyone coming with an older device, you will love the Note 9.

The Galaxy Note 9 probably has the best specification in any of the phones today. It gets a big, bright and the most accurate display in any phone. It has a flagship SoC, carbon water cooling and has a gigantic 4000mAh battery.
The phone will be priced a little higher when compared to the pricing of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. It is partly due to the introduction of 5% excise duty and exclusion of 40% VAT rebate. And the sky-rocketing of the price of the dollar also plays a role.
All in all, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is an excellent phone. If you can shell out a little over Rs. 100,000, the Galaxy Note 9 is the best phone you can buy today.
