Sony’s flagship phone, the Xperia Z3 has appeared in a series of leaked images. The leaked phone shares the same design language. There are a few cosmetic changes though. One noticable change is the curved edges instead of sharp edges found in its predecessor.
The curved edges around the phone is a welcome change especially since many people conplained that the flat edges was difficult to hold. The leaked images shows Xperia Z3 from all possible angle. The images are high res too.
The other cosmetic change is that the speaker grile is now positioned more to the left of the phone. Stereo speaker seems to be absent in these leaked photos but since this may just be a prototype we make see it in the final design.
Along with the design, the leaked specs are similar too. Under the hood, the leak source claims to be Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU, Full HD Display, 3GB RAM and 20.7MP Exmor RS Sensor with G Lens on-board.
There are regular slots found in the Sony Xperia Z2. What you get is a Micro-SD Card Slot and Micro-SIM slot. The button positioning is the same. There is volume rocker, power button and a dedicated shutter button on the phone. The flaps on ports also means that the Z3 is water-resistant and dust proof.
Sony introduces new flagship phone every six months unlike most of its competitors and the changes are mostly minor. If this leak is legit, Xperia Z3 is just an upgrade from its predecessor not a overhaul. But agin, it may be an elaborate hoax.
