Xiaomi is all set to launch the much-anticipated Mi Band 3 next week. Mi Band 2 has been the best-selling smartwatch / fitness tracker for many years now. It is officially launching on May 31st alongside the Xiaomi Mi8.
There were many instances where the CEO had been seen wearing the yet to be launched fitness tracker. The company is said to have been testing the band for over 3 months and finally has hit mass production.
The Mi Band 3 is similar to its predecessor in many ways. The tracker keeps almost the same dimensions as that of the Mi Band 2 and is expected to feature similar set of features.
The Mi Band 3 will come with 0.42-inch OLED Display and is said to sport 70mAh battery, On the back, there’s the Heart Rate Monitor as well as the charging connector.
The other thing that is said to have changed is the software. The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 can be connected to either an Android phone or an iPhone. The Mi Fit app is recommended to utilize all the features of the fitness tracker.

The expected price of Xiaomi Mi Band 3 in Nepal is Rs.4,500. Let’s hope the product is priced well and on par with the International pricing. Mi Nepal, the authorized distributor of Xiaomi products in Nepal will most likely stop selling the Mi Band 2 when the Mi Band 3 goes on sale.
