It’s not very often that we get a new smartphone in Nepal before it lands to India. Well, this time, we do! The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is officially coming to Nepal next week. There are two variants of the Redmi Note 4: one with 2GB/16GB and the other being 3GB/64GB. Apart from the RAM/Storage configuration, the two variants are identical. In Nepal, we will be getting the latter.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 will be coming in only Silver colour and no, you won’t be able to get the Grey or Golden Colour. Also, the 2GB RAM/16GB Internal Storage won’t make its way into Nepal. There’s one processor to choose from for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and it is the MediaTek Helio X20 10-core processor. Here’s a quick run-down at the specs of the soon to be launched Redmi Note 4 in Nepal:
- 5.5″ 1080p Display
- Mediatek Helio X20 10-core Soc
- 3GB of RAM
- 64GB Internal Storage
- 13MP f/2.0 Rear Camera
- 5MP f/2.0 Front Camera
- Dual Sim Functionality
- 4100mAh Battery with Fast charging
I have personally gathered my first impressions of the Redmi Note 4 in Nepal itself and the two negative things I found about this phone has to be its camera and the loudspeaker performance. Looking at all the other features this phone provides, the camera performance is below average. Also, I am someone who mostly relies on Bluetooth for music but when I am using the Redmi Note 4 for audio,I found the sound to clip and the sound itself is really tiny.
